Trestle Social ("Trestle," "we," "us") is operated by Avalon Meridian LLC. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• Phone number, used to verify your identity via SMS one-time passcode and to send account-related notifications
• Optional email address, if you choose to provide one during signup
• Event and group planning information you create or participate in within the app (e.g., events, RSVPs, group preferences)
• For vendors: business and payment information necessary to process payouts, handled securely through our payment processor, Stripe

How We Use SMS

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Trestle Social, including one-time verification codes for sign-in and event notifications such as invitations, RSVP updates, and reminders. Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

The messages we send fall into these categories:

• One-time verification codes for account sign-in and security
• Event invitations sent on behalf of a host
• RSVP updates when guests respond to an event you host or attend
• Event reminders ahead of a gathering
• Group vote results when your group decides on a date, place, or activity
• Booking updates when you hire or are hired as a vendor

We do not send marketing, promotional, or newsletter messages by SMS.

Consent is never forced or pre-checked: See our SMS consent screen for the exact opt-in checkbox and disclosure shown at signup.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, except with our SMS delivery provider, Twilio, solely to transmit the messages described above. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with third parties.

Guest Invitations

When a host invites someone to an event, the guest's phone number is provided by that host from their own contacts. The host confirms they personally know the guest before an invitation is sent. A guest's number is used only to deliver messages for that specific event — the invitation, RSVP updates, and reminders — and is never added to a marketing list, never used to send promotional messages, and never shared or sold. Guests can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the app (such as Twilio for SMS delivery and Stripe for payments), or when required by law.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information.
